Siarhei Satsuk’s case will be considered on 23 September

The case will be heard by Sviatlana Bandarenka, a Minsk City Court judge. The trial is to start in
the Court at 10:00.
It was Sviatlana Bandarenka who sent journalist Katsiaryna Barysevich behind bars in the high-profile case related to publishing the results of the medical examination of Raman Bandarenka, an activist who was murdered by the law enforcers in 2020.
Siarhei Satsuk is an investigative journalist and editor of the Ezhednevnik news outlet (ej.by).
He was detained on 8 December 2021 and charged with bribetaking, inciting social hatred, and official misconduct. It is not known what specific actions served as grounds for the accusation.
