The course will be held online in 6 ses­sions with a final face-to-face meet­ing. The dates are Tues­days: 9, 16, 23, 30 Novem­ber, 7, 14 Decem­ber (online)

The aims of the course:

to dis­tin­guish the Social Dia­log and Col­lec­tive Bar­gain­ing con­cepts

to get acquaint­ed with Euro­pean per­spec­tive and pri­or­i­ties for the social dia­logue agen­da

to analyse your organ­i­sa­tion­al con­text and rep­re­sen­ta­tive­ness as poten­tial for an effi­cient col­lec­tive bar­gain­ing process 

to pre­pare claims/proposal for nego­ti­a­tion  in the frame­work of  the action plan for a suc­cess­ful nego­ti­a­tion

to iden­ti­fy the ade­quate nego­ti­a­tion tech­nique and the pro­file of a good nego­tia­tor in the media sec­tor

to con­sid­er the post-nego­ti­a­tion

I have also attached the draft pro­gramme for your infor­ma­tion. The course tar­gets at union/association offi­cers respon­si­ble for col­lec­tive bar­gain­ing and nego­ti­a­tion.

Lan­guage of the course: Eng­lish

Time frame: 18 hours on online ses­sions  (3 hours for a con­sec­u­tive 6 weeks); plus 6 hours of group work (1 hour per week for 6 weeks).

Two-day face-to-face meet­ing on 11 and 12 Jan­u­ary.

In addi­tion to the online course, we will cre­ate an online forum (via Google group) for con­tin­u­ous coach­ing out­side of the live train­ing sec­tion dur­ing the course peri­od.

Course mate­ri­als will be uploaded in Google cloud for down­load­ing. Par­tic­i­pants will be able to upload their ‘‘home­work’’ on the cloud also.

Com­mit­ment

We under­stand that it is not easy to take time out from work to com­mit to a series of online cours­es. How­ev­er, we would like to be fair to every­one and require par­tic­i­pants to attend at least 80% of the course in order to go on to the face-to-face meet­ing in spring 2022 and receive a cer­tifi­cate for the atten­dance & com­ple­tion of the online course.
